It's Poetry Friday! Today's roundup is hosted by Catherine Flynn at Reading to the Core. Stop by to enjoy some poetry and/or leave a link.
It's National Poetry Month. This year, I selected "CHOOSE JOY" as my One Little Word Phrase. Since I'm on the lookout for JOY, it makes sense to share a poem each day this month about what I find.
And that looks like the perfect place to do all those things!
ReplyDeleteThe water is always a good place! So true, Ruth.
DeleteI agree with Ruth, looking and 'being' at the water's edge never gets old. I have that one lake I can easily visit & I am a grateful.
ReplyDeleteYes! I am grateful for the water visits: creek, stream, pond, lake, ocean (all of them!).
DeleteYes. I need this poem, this reminder.
ReplyDeleteMe too! (Even retired.)
DeleteI will definitely take you up on your invitation to enjoy springtime, Cathy.
ReplyDeleteLovely! I like how the pacing of the poem echoes the sentiments it's expressing. The punctuation and line breaks creating the pauses and the slower pace.
