It's Poetry Friday!
Today's roundup is hosted by Catherine Flynn at Reading to the Core. Stop by to enjoy some poetry and/or leave a link.

It's National Poetry Month. This year, I selected "CHOOSE JOY" as my One Little Word Phrase. Since I'm on the lookout for JOY, it makes sense to share a poem each day this month about what I find.

  2. I agree with Ruth, looking and 'being' at the water's edge never gets old. I have that one lake I can easily visit & I am a grateful.

    1. Yes! I am grateful for the water visits: creek, stream, pond, lake, ocean (all of them!).

  4. I will definitely take you up on your invitation to enjoy springtime, Cathy.

  5. Lovely! I like how the pacing of the poem echoes the sentiments it's expressing. The punctuation and line breaks creating the pauses and the slower pace.
