National Poetry Month: Bridges of Memory

Hello, National Poetry Month. This month, I will be writing 26 poems for the April celebration. The poems will be about whatever has piqued my interest in the last twenty-four hours.

the wooden bridge is still there.
long ago we crossed,
feeding koi swimming below.
yesterdays lost,
collide with today.
echoes of long ago,
those memories stay.
