Poetry Friday: Foreboding
I just can't thank each of you enough for last week's lovely trip around the Poetry Friday community. Hosting this community is always such a pleasure. Your words, lines, poems, comments, and reflections brought much comfort. Among the hopeful stops was an invitation from Mary Lee to join #haikuforhealing. It seemed a comforting step as I try to find an actionable way forward. I'm posting a haiku each day on my Instagram account.
Here is today's #haikuforhealing:
It really was wonderful and a joy last week, Cathy, & you started us with such hope! I posted my first #haikufor healing today, will try to keep up! I love your many-layered haiku. I wake in the morning, then remember!
ReplyDeleteOh, Linda, I hear you. I wake in the morning and can't believe, can't believe...

ReplyDeleteWow--such foreboding, Cathy. This is sad and beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLovely. Sad, but lovely. I admire all the W sounds. (Can't remember if I've already said this to you somewhere...forgive me if I repeat...but let's use #haikuforhealing2024 to make our posts more findable and shareable on IG!)
