Time Flies

Today my youngest daughter, Cassie, turns 17.  I'm really not sure where the days have gone.  They seem to have just raced by.  This poem is for her one her special day.  She keeps me smiling every day.  #daughtersrock

french braids
red boots
Barbies
American Girl dolls

Today 
is
prom dresses
hair straighteners
heels
iPods
cell phones

Yesterday 
was
riding bikes
jumping on trampolines
traveling ball
swinging on swings
picture books

Today 
is
driving cars
bonfires
school teams
laying in the sun
hanging out with friends

Memories of yesterday
Moments of today
Lived
Loved
Making us smile
Always
